Spring

Spring is a large CDP (census-designated place) in Texas. This place is on the extraterritorial of Houston. Although a small part of it is more commonly known as Old Town Texas, it was the original town situated on the crossing of Spring-Cypress and Hardy Roads.

Spring is an area comprising only 60.1 square kilometers. It is an area whose small part is situated in Southern Montgomery County, and the larger part is in Northern Harris County. The population of homes is also relatively small, with approximately 55000 people only according to the 2010 census.

It is a part of the Houston – Woodlands-Sugar land metropolitan area. The weather and climate of this region are similar to Houston. The summers are hot and humid. The winters are cool but not harsh cold winters that some other parts of the USA experience.
