Westfield

Westfield is located on Interstate 45 in Harris County, Texas, USA. It is an unincorporated town situated in Downtown Houston. It is in Precinct 4 of Harris County.As per the history of this town, it was more of an agricultural town, surviving on trade cattle, cotton, hides, etc. It was inhabited first by the German Immigrant and was named after Gadi F.West, a man who had a field along the railway road. Lying on the outskirts of Houston, it is safe to say that the town sees the same weather and climate as its neighboring areas. The summers are hot and humid. However, the winters are mild, cool, not harsh like many other areas in the USA.

It was initially a very less populated town of under 200 people. However, the population increased after the war years in 1960. Westfield is now the 2nd congressional district in Texas. There are not many areas of its own in Westfield. It shares school with other areas like Spring. The public library is also at Mercer Park. There are a few booming businesses in the area. Businesses like Car Detailing have now started their setup in Westfield.
